Mesa County election tours

Interested in seeing how elections work in Mesa County? Sign up for an election tour! Join us on either October 26 or October 27 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm for a behind-the-scenes look at how ballots are securely received from drop boxes, processed, and counted during an active election.

Tours are free and open to the public, but space is limited and advanced registration is required. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the safeguards in place to ensure accurate and transparent elections. Tours are held at the Mesa County Central Services building (west entrance) at 200 S Spruce Street in Grand Junction.

2027 "I Voted" sticker design contest

It's time for the 2027 "I Voted" sticker design contest! The contest is open to all elementary, middle, and high school level Mesa County students. Artwork will be collected from September 8, 2026 through November 1, 2026. The public is invited to vote for their favorite finalist entries on our website from December 1, 2026 through December 14, 2026. Winners will receive a $50 gift card, a plaque featuring their artwork, and special recognition at a county commissioner meeting. Winning artwork will be featured on "I Voted" stickers distributed during the 2027 election season. Click to download the contest packet:

Elections to notify voters about signature updates

Mesa County Elections will soon send out official notices to some registered voters, asking them to update their reference signature on file. This proactive outreach supports ballot security and helps ensure seamless signature verification in upcoming elections.
