Stage 2 Fire Restrictions enacted

Effective beginning 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2026, until further notice. These restrictions apply to all private land and BLM managed public lands within the boundaries of the Grand Junction Field Office. For more information visit the Fire Restrictions webpage.

Board responsibilities

  • Hearing and deciding appeals and requests for variances
  • Appeals to decisions by the Floodplain Administrator regarding interpretation of floodplain boundaries
  • Issuance or non-issuance of a floodplain development permit and conditions attached thereto
  • Review of any other provision of the floodplain regulation.
